PowerVAR Ground Guard Power Conditioners provide complete power protection for networked systems with features such as low impedance isolation transformer, filter elements in the safety ground circuit, high energy surge diverter, and power line filter. These power conditioners are available in various sizes (78 VA to 2500 VA). PowerVar Ground Guard power conditioner provides networked systems with benefits beyond those of traditional power conditioning products. Filter elements in the safety ground circuit prevent the formation of “ground loops,” which are common in networked applications. This “ground conditioning” feature combined with a high energy surge diverter and a power line filter completely eliminates the need for both dedicated electrical circuits and isolated ground wiring. The ground conditioning circuitry eliminates ground loops and prevents hardware damage, component degradation, and operational disruption. It also has a red LED that flashes if the AC outlet is missing its input safety ground. The let through voltage is less than 10 volts normal mode and less than 0.5 volts neutral-to-ground. The product comes with a five-year warranty on parts and labor.
